Your neighborhood farmstand

The Rose West Homestead Farmstand was built as a way for my neighbors in Steamboat II to have easy access to local food. Going for a stroll? Stop by the farmstand. Picking kids up from school? Stop by the farmstand. On the way to town? Stop by the farmstand.

It is situated next to my garden and poultry pastures so you can see what real food looks like before it gets prepped and packaged. This glimpse into small-scale farming is meant to inspire, create change, and motivate anyone into dipping their toes into growing their own food.

The details

The farmstand is located at 40589 Steamboat Dr. Steamboat Springs, CO 80487. It is open on Fridays from 10am - 6pm. This timing allows me to stock it in the morning and keep it open so you can swing by before you’re home for the evening. During this trial year I have not set an end date. It’s all a wonderful experiment so I’m willing to keep it open as long as folks are coming.

What I’m selling

This year I’m stocking the farmstand full of veggies raised in my garden, organic fruit sourced from family farms on the Western Slope, homemade sourdough bread from the locally owned Rouge Ranch, and Rose West merch!

Psst…there might even be a waitlsit to buy homestead chicken!
